The Hose Wheels Design (HWD), positioned below the cathead and free to follow the hydromill movements with a tensioning and rewinding automatic system, arises from the need to be able to move the hydraulic and bentonite mud circulation hoses simultaneously to the cutting unit.

The DMS (Drilling Mate System) developed by Soilmec and installed on all the products of the range allows the real time monitoring of all the operating parameters and of the production process, including a dual-axis positioning sensor (triple-axis version optional) that controls the geometry of the panel depending on the depth.
