Soilmec at Geofluid 2016

Soilmec exhibited at Geofluid 2016, the international exhibition specialized in the prospection, extraction and transport of underground fluids, geotechnical, soil investigation and well drilling, special foundations and piling, "trenchless" technologies, tunnel excavation and underground works, which took place October 5-8, 2016, at the Piacenza Expo Exhibition Center in Piacenza.

The Soilmec exhibit at booth 9H in the External Area featured SM-4 and SM-22 drilling rigs for micropiles and the truck-mounted G-38 drilling rig for water wells.

The SM series drilling rigs outcomes from Soilmec expertise and Puntel engineering, and is aimed at increasing performance, safety and innovation. As new drilling rigs, both SM-4 and SM-22 stand out for an extensive series of movements making it possible to work in various positions and to perform lateral movements in total safety.

Thanks to an innovative kinematic mechanism, the machines can also operate parallel to the tracks. Furthermore, the rigs are suited for an extremely varied range of working applications and technologies since they offer a wide range of rotary heads, clamp/joint breakers and modular antennas with varying travel of the rotary heads.

G-38 multipurpose hydraulic drilling rig is designed for direct and reverse circulation drilling with mud, water and down the hole hammer and is able to perform both water wells and geological investigation.

Soilmec welcomed Geofluid visitors with warm hospitality at a 1000 sqm exhibition space featuring a newly-designed stand with comfortable reception areas.
