Soilmec Open Day in Bratislava

Soilmec Italy, Soilmec Germany, Soilmec Polska, Intermarket, dealer for Czech and Slovakia Republics, and ATBM, dealer for Austria, have invited customers from Poland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia to attend a one-day Soilmec Open day in Bratislava on July 25.

More than 60 people attended a half-day session where, among all Soilmec product line equipment for piles and diaphragm walls, soil consolidation and drilling and grouting, a special focus was put on the SR-125 platform, on the new SC-135 Tiger hydromill and on the new SR-65 that, with two units is working in Bratislava and in Nové Město Nad Váhom.

The key aspects of the SR-125 platform where illustrated with reference to several successful projects performed worldwide, where the SR-125, SR-135 and SR-145 are proving the capability to complete a CFA 800 mm pile at 36,6 m in sand and clay in 32 minutes, as well as to excavate a 1500 mm diam. pile at 86 m depth with a maximum deviation at its bottom less than 0,3% or to perform a 3,0 m diameter pile fully cased at 78,6m depth with 7,5 m of bedrock.

The SC-135 Tiger, with its installed power of 708 kW, its double hydraulic system, a powerful mud pump and the cutting motor power and reliability, was presented with a special focus on a job site in China where, in sound granite, a production of more than 11 m³/hour was achieved.

The new Soilmec SR-65 has been designed to be the best in class in transport condition and fast rig-up, in noise emission and in segmental casing technology.

In the afternoon a visit to a customer job-site, where a brand new SR-65 was working to perform CFA 900 mm piles at 20 m depth, with a daily production of 120 – 150 m/day, was the occasion to see this model performing the drilling phase in less than 25 minutes, and to prove how this unit is the most silent rig in its range compared to Soilmec competitors’ equipment.
