Soilmec DMS Onboard is our HMI software combined with an advanced hardware architecture, specifically designed to increase drilling efficiency through improved operational control and automated drilling functions.
At the core of the system is a 12” touchscreen display, installed in the operator’s cab, which provides a clear and complete overview of both machine operation and real-time drilling data. All information is displayed with high contrast, ensuring excellent readability even under direct sunlight, and is available in multiple languages.
The user interface comes with a predefined and optimized set of parameters, while also allowing the operator to customize the layout according to specific operational needs and personal preferences.
With DMS Onboard, operators have full control of the drilling rig through an intuitive interface and simple, effective commands. It’s easily possible to select the tool configuration, Choose the preferred machine dynamics, set operating modes such as maximum performance or low-noise operation and other useful settings.
A wide range of automatic functions can be activated to simplify machine operations, from basic features like mast verticality control to advanced processes such as fully automated CFA drilling.
DMS Onboard also plays a key role in recording drilling parameters, capturing all necessary data to generate complete and detailed PDF reports. Recorded data can be transferred either manually or automatically to the other components of the DMS Suite, including DMS-PC and DMS-Manager, ensuring seamless data continuity across the entire workflow.
