Regarding performance, the maximum capacity is 50 tons with a working radius of about 3.6 m; the diesel engine power (201 kW) and the hoisting force (150 kN) are greater than those of the main competitors’ cranes.

SC-70 HD

SC-70 HD is a Soilmec crane with an electro-hydraulic proportional control system that provides accurate and simultaneous movements. Regarding performance, the maximum capacity is 72.6 tons with a working radius of about 3.3 m; the diesel engine power (403 kW) and the hoisting force (260 kN) are greater than those of the main competitors’ cranes.

SC-80

SC-80 is a Soilmec crane with an electro-hydraulic proportional control system that provides accurate and simultaneous movements. SC-100

The demand for diaphragm wall equipment suitable to urban areas and the stringent requirement of verticality make the hydromill Cougar a good and easy option to meet the customer’s needs.

The Hose Wheels Design (HWD) is positioned below the cathead so that it can easily follow the hydromill movements with a tensioning and rewinding automatic system. It arises from the need to move simultaneously the hydraulic and bentonite mud circulation hoses to the cutting unit.

The SC-100 Cougar is a compact hydromill equipment optimized for urban areas and low transportation weight (max 50 t; 110,000 lb).

SC-120

The demand for diaphragm wall equipment suitable to urban areas and the stringent requirement of verticality make the hydromill Cougar a good and easy option to meet the customer’s needs.

The Hose Wheels Design (HWD) is positioned below the cathead so that it can easily follow the hydromill movements with a tensioning and rewinding automatic system. It arises from the need to move simultaneously the hydraulic and bentonite mud circulation hoses to the cutting unit.

The SC-120 Cougar is the high performance HWD series, which excavates more than 60 m of depth with approx. 900 HP ensuring a great level of production rates.

SC-135 HD

With the aim of meeting the need for increased diaphragm wall depth in the most challenging soil conditions, Soilmec has designed the “HDD” (Hose Drums Design) hydromill configuration. Hydraulic and mud winders are positioned on a base carrier, allowing high depth drilling performances.

SC-200 c/w P450/P700

The SC-200 Tiger is the hydromill which allowed to excavate the deepest diaphragm wall in the world (250 m depth). The record was achieved in 2012 with a proofed verticality deviation of about 0.1%.

SH-30

The hydromill module is constituted by a heavy steel frame on which two milling drums and a centrifugal mud pump are mounted. In order to correct the module verticality deviation, 12 independent mobile flaps are positioned on the module surface. Furthermore, a simultaneous or independent tilting plate can be installed as optional for the best verticality correction, especially in case of leaned layers of rock. All Soilmec modules are set with a 2D or 3D sensor developed for the module positioning control, which is managed by the Hydromill DMS.

SH-40

The 40 t class module is suggested for medium-high depth projects. Its body length and weight guarantee a high verticality level and panel dimensions up to 3200x1800 mm. The high torque cutting unit (up to 153 kNm) can be installed.

The module rotation system is included as a standard.

SH-50

SM-4

SM-4 is a new drilling machine featuring a separate power pack and the same movements of its larger sister, the SM-5. It has two different engine sizes available: 115 kW and 110 kW respectively (diesel and electrical).

SM-5

The new SM-5 is a compact drill rig weighting 5.6 tons, available both with a combined kinematic mechanism that includes a telescopic arm, a +/- 90° tilting and a slew ring on mast (standard version), and in the G version that features a fixed kinematic mechanism and coring rotary, for soil-investigation.
The significant installed power, 72 kW, achieves high performance despite small dimensions, thanks to a wide rotary selection with torque values ranging between 690 daNm and 2100 daNm.

SM-10GT

The new SM-10GT is a hydraulic drilling rig designed specifically for geothermal drilling.

The fixed kinematic mechanism, wide section mast, and the pull-push system with a 120 kN hydraulic cylinder means drilling deep, precise bores.

The rubber tracked undercarriage and low specific pressure on the ground make this machine ideal for operating in gardens and private courtyards, typical in this kind of application, reducing the impact of the site.

SM-16GT

SM-16GT responds to the demand of geothermal systems drilling between 100 and 250 metres.
The equipment's characteristics mean it can satisfy 70% of demand from the low-enthalpy geothermal sector. The compact drilling rig has a rubber tracked, 2300 mm-wide carriage and very low ground bearing pressure (0.65 Kg/cm2), thereby minimising damage to private property (gardens and courtyards) where domestic geothermal energy is used.

SM-8G

Designed mainly for geognostic use, it can be used for vertical drilling micropiles or inclined ± 13°.
Main features:

SM-16G

Specific equipment for Soil Investigation, designed for deep core drilling.
The high pull/push values and the high hydraulic power installed lets you use fast rotary speeds (over 1000 rpm) for conventional and wire-line diamond core drilling to great depths.

- Rotary head with 6-speed transmission (maximum speed: 1000 rpm)
- Fixed kinematic mechanism
- Extraction capacity: 19500 kg
- Hydraulic balancing

ST-20

The ST-20 tunnelling rig is ideal for sub-horizontal consolidation in tunnels with a work radius of between 1512 mm and 4696 mm (with the drilling mast horizontal at 0°). The useful stroke of the rotary allows treatments of up to 14 m (16 with the optional extension).
The drilling mast can be folded in at both ends, reducing the overall dimensions, to make the rig easier to transport both underground and on the road at the end of the job.

The machine has two motors (diesel and electric) of a suitable size for each single motor to perform all the drilling, traversing and positioning operations of the crawler.

ST-60

ST-60 tunnelling rig project was developed to meet the growing need for sub-horizontal consolidation in large-section tunnels using single-boom equipment working with the full section method as an excellent alternative to the double-boom type system traditionally used for this type of job.
The equipment is very flexible and fast to use, also in relation to the importance of the treatments to perform. To reach the maximum heading stroke points with respect to ground level, a special system of thrust blocks and sliding blocks was designed to reach these points in total safety. The machine has a mast for 19000 mm treatments in one pass and 24000 m treatments with matching chuck and optional extensions.

The maximum extension height at 0° with respect to ground level is 10700 mm.
The variability of the height of the thrust block axis of rotation from 850 mm to 4250 mm combined with the column extension allows a work radius of from 3700 mm to 6500 mm. Tunnel lining is over 180°.
Fitted with two motors (diesel and electric) for both drilling and traversing, guaranteeing performance also in case of a breakdown of one of the two units.

ST-120

The ST-120 tunnelling rig is the top of the Soilmec tunnelling range.
Designed for the consolidation of large section tunnels it can be used for treatments up to a maximum of 21000 mm in one pass and 24000 mm with matching chuck. Heights of 10100 mm can be reached at the heading with the arms perfectly horizontal at 0°.

The main feature of the ST-120 positioner is the geometry of the two cradles that house the system of sliding blocks and telescopic arms, letting you work far from the face to consolidate (12000 mm) guaranteeing the greatest safety in operations underground. Furthermore, each of the single drilling arms is fully independent, driven by two separated power and remote control units.

The weight of the rig in operational layout, depending on the optional devices fitted and the configuration used, is between 110 and 120 tonnes.
